OPTIMAUTIC · Self-Hosted Marketing Automation

Own your marketing stack. Stop renting your customer data.

I deploy and integrate Mautic, Postal, n8n, OpenClaw, Uptime Kuma and WordPress on your own server — so email marketing, lead nurturing and workflow automation run for a flat monthly hosting bill instead of a per-contact SaaS invoice.

The stack I build and operate

Six tools, one coherent system. Each layer does exactly one job — that is what keeps it maintainable for years instead of months.

Layer Tool What it does for you Replaces
Audience & campaigns Mautic Contacts, segments, drip campaigns, lead scoring, landing pages, attribution Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot
Delivery Postal SMTP infrastructure, sending domains, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, bounce logs, reputation SendGrid, Amazon SES
Automation glue n8n Deterministic workflows, integrations, enrichment, data movement between everything Zapier, Make
Intelligence OpenClaw AI agent layer that monitors, judges, remembers context and acts on your stack Custom scripts + admin dashboards
Reliability Uptime Kuma Availability monitoring, cron heartbeats, tiered alerts, public status page Pingdom, UptimeRobot
Public surface WordPress Site, forms, SEO, content, commerce — feeding qualified leads into the machine Webflow, Squarespace

Why teams switch to this

Monthly volume Typical SaaS spend Self-hosted stack
20k contacts · 50k automations $700 – $900 ~$46 infrastructure
Scaling to 100k+ contacts Rises every month, forever Flat — you resize a server

Beyond cost: your contact data stays on hardware you control, your sending reputation is yours to protect, and no vendor price change can break your marketing. The honest trade is that self-hosting needs maintenance — which is exactly what the packages below cover.

Two ways to start

1 · Mautic + Postal deployment (marketing engine)

For businesses whose revenue depends on email. Full install on your VPS, not a demo on mine.

  • Mautic + Postal installed with Docker, Postgres/MySQL, TLS via Caddy or nginx
  • Complete DNS setup: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, PTR/rDNS, tracking and inbound domains
  • IP reputation check before purchase + a 4-week warm-up schedule
  • Mautic ↔ Postal connected, bounces and complaints routed to suppression automatically
  • WordPress forms feeding leads into segments, with scoring rules
  • Backups that restore (tested), monitoring, and a written runbook

2 · OpenClaw AI agent build (automation & ops)

For operators who want their infrastructure to think, not just respond.

  • OpenClaw deployed on your server with persistent memory and workspace
  • Connected to your channels: Telegram, WhatsApp or email as a working admin surface
  • n8n wired in for deterministic workflows, retries and audit logs
  • Scheduled checks, event watchers, adaptive monitoring and agent subagents
  • MCP tools attached so the agent can operate GitLab, n8n, WordPress and more
  • Guardrails: approval steps, command allowlists, secrets kept out of chat logs

Want the whole thing, end to end?

Mautic · Postal · n8n · OpenClaw · Uptime Kuma · WordPress as one integrated stack, with monitoring, backups and a handover you can actually operate. Message me on either gig describing your current setup — I’ll scope it honestly, including telling you when self-hosting is the wrong answer for you.

Written guides, from real deployments

Common questions

Do I need to buy a VPS first?

No. I can recommend and provision the right server for your volume, or work on one you already own. If your provider blocks outbound port 25 or refuses reverse DNS, I’ll tell you before we waste days on it.

Will my emails land in spam?

Correct DNS (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, PTR), a clean IP and a slow warm-up are what determine that — not your copy. I configure all four and hand you a schedule. Anyone promising instant deliverability on a brand-new IP is guessing.

What happens after handover?

You get admin credentials, the compose files, backup scripts, monitoring and a runbook. Nothing is locked to me. If you’d rather not touch it, ongoing maintenance can be arranged.

Is self-hosting always the right choice?

No. If you send fewer than ~10k emails a month, have no server and no appetite for maintenance, a managed tool is cheaper than your time. I say so upfront rather than sell you a stack you won’t operate.

Ready to own your stack?

Pick the gig that matches your problem, describe your current setup, and I’ll tell you exactly what deployment looks like.
